Saturday we were invited to the USDA Christmas Party held at Coconut Point. We had a great time! The tide was low but rose quickly.
We took a kayak out on the brisk current and discovered this great tree.

I just talked to my family in Brazil and they are all at the beach having fun and enjoying the sun. I miss warm christmas breaks. I love your pictures. The kayaking looks like a lot of fun.
Yeah, today Scott and I were driving west and I'm like, "you mean we're driving towards the beach?" And he said, "well, it would take 3 hours to get there, but yeah!" We're enjoying our holiday in LA, but look forward to returning to the ocean in Hawaii. The beaches where you guys live are so beautiful!
