Ella and Ephraim ended tonight with this conversation:
Ella: Maybe, when I'm old like mama, and I'm 30, then I'll marry you.
Ephraim: How can I marry you if I'm already married to mama?
Ella: Well, then I can marry Isaac.
Ephraim: Sisters don't marry brothers, and daughters don't marry fathers.
Ella: Oh.
Ephraim: You'll just have to find a man that's like me and Isaac. Someone who treats you like a princess, and makes you happy, and keeps the commandments.
Ella: Maybe when I'm 30, I'll find a man, who treats me like a princess, and makes me happy. And I'll name him...........Ike.

So it must be something about the age, because Paul says "Carlina is so cute that every time I see her I want to fall over!(then he does) And he says "I want to marry Carlina when I grow up." Sooo we've had the same discussuions about how you cannot marry your cousin etc etc... :) Thanks for posting all the pics in the previous posts. It's the only way my kids know what cousins/aunts/uncles/grandparents look like!
Keep Telling her 30 is a great age to get hitched. I figure that is about when I will get around to it! She sounds so stinkin' cute! I can't believe they are so big.
I love that her "perfect" man is named Ike. That made me laugh. My dad always told me that I couldn't get married till I was done with my "mormon" mission (like I would be a mish for another church) and I had to finish my Juris Doctorate and be at least 30. At least he got 1 of the 3.
Keep those expectations high. You never know, maybe she will find someone nice named Ike. It could happen.
