Any Way You Say It

I can't stand cutsy names for pregnancy like "preg-o", "preggers", etc. I prefer just saying "pregnant", although it sounds clinical. "Expecting" is more discreet, but can be confusing. And does anyone really use "in a family way" anymore?

Well, any way you say it, we're going to have a baby next April. Yay!

THIS IS CRAZY!!!!! I had a dream you were pregnant. I had a dream about my sister being pregnant and then she got pregnant and this has happened several times. I swear this is creepy.

congratulations!!!!!!!

p.s I~m also trying to get pregnant so if you happen to have a dream about me let me know.
I am super excited for you guys and I love your prego photo. It's pretty awesome. How totally creative.

I'm feeling both sides of this news. My maternal and eternal instinct is to shout and cheer and jump because I'm so excited for you! But then, I also know all to well what you're in for and my second instinct is pure pity. 9 months is a long time. But nothing is longer than those last 2 dreadful weeks... Still, I know you're more pacient than me, more tough and you complain way less than I do, so you'll probably love evry minute of it. Congratulations!

Congratulations! That's so exciting!

Um, how's the health care over there? Is it safer to just have a home birth? (just kidding) We miss you guys!

So check my blog to find out if you would really want Reed in the delivery room with you. Besides where do you deliver over there or will you go to Hawaii? You could always come here, There is lots of extra room!

Congratulations!! I loved how you eased into announcing the wonderful news with a mini vocab discussion! Personally, I like the French word for it: "enceinte". As an adjective, it means "pregnant", but as a noun, it can mean either a protective fortification wall or the interior of a protected place, usually a church. That's a lot of meaning packed into one little word.

I hope everything's going well, and that you're not too tired.
Congratulations again!!
Gros bisous,
Claire
