Last Sunday he fell and sliced his chin open. It looked like he had two mouths. I felt sick. Luckily Ephraim viewed this gore as simple tissues and vessels, so he took Isaac to the ER to get the chin taped together.

Talking to friends, I learned that every little boy slices his chin open sometime. So I'll try to be ready for Owen's turn. Gag!

i'm impressed with the lion king paint! nice!
kendall busted her chin open a couple years ago. nothing a few stitches couldn't fix. i busted mine open when i was 8 or 9!
I hope we will skip the chin busting at my house--Eewww!--but we have done plenty of eye bashing. James has even woken up with 2 black eyes. No clue what he is doing to himself in his bed at night. Boys will be boys, after all.
I love his Lion King face!! I had such an adjustment to boys coming from a family of all girls. It is a learning process! Good luck, and Happy Thanksgiving! We love you and miss you!
Coming from an ICU nurse, no matter how much of other people's gore you see, when it is your babies' gore, it is TOTALLY different!! Paul tripped over Malia's leg in sacrament meeting today and hit the top of a pew with his chin in just about the same spot as Isaac. Luckily it didn't split--just bit his tongue up pretty badly
