Meet Alfred
He's our big gecko. He lives behind the clock. He loves to get into our garbage at night and leaves little droppings. Someday we'll get a full body shot. I guess I could just lift up the clock, but I wanna give the guy some privacy.
Classic. Why Alfred? He looks pretty substantial. I remember before we moved to Hawaii my dad telling me there were lizards that lived in the houses. It blew my little mind. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Then you get used to it. Then there's Alfred.
We just got back from our first trip to Hawaii where Paul and Malia are old enough to remember. They thought the pili's at Ma and Pa's were totally awesome! I was afraid they'd be freaked out, but they thought they were cool :)
