Introcducting Ta’iala Academy! A few months ago a group of concerned parents from our ward got together and decided that something had to be done with the education situation here, and we felt that we could start something wonderful for our kids. Thus Ta’iala Academy was born. Ta’iala means leading the way. It’s been a bumpy road, but we’re moving forward, and we’ll see where this “ala” takes us.
We’re renovating a house so we’ll have four classrooms and two bathrooms. Many folks in our ward have helped out, and we really appreciate all their hard work.

Oh wow, you guys. I'm so impressed and proud of you! It's looking good and it'll be so fun to see all the kids in there learning so many valuable things. Good luck with the finishing touches! How soon will it be open?
Melinda, This looks like a great project! Sometimes the right answer is yes even when you feel like saying no. Will you be teaching once it's finished? I hope your camera feels better soon because it was taking awesome photos!
melinda, i love the green color for the school! it looks like it's coming along so well. i'm glad i got to be there for one little part of it. love you!
