We've had Spring Break this week, and it's been WONDERFUL! To maximize our last day of the break, we went to Nuuuli Falls on Saturday. (I know, that's a lot of u's. It's got Hauula beat. But it's tied with Kaaawa.)
The hike only takes about 10 minutes (for us; 5 min for "normal people"). Its accessibility is good, but also bad because other people go there and leave lots of rubbish. Ephraim the eco-hero picked up everything he could find, and we had it hauled out. (Why are people so inconsiderate?)
It was my first time, but Ephraim had gone for the first time the weekend before with some other folks. While we were there some of our friends showed up! The Ili's, the Siamau's, the Peter's, and the Semo's made it a party. Great minds think alike.

O.K fine, I know you don't have an Ikea where you live but holy cow you live in paradise. A 5 minute walk to a great waterfall is amazing.
I like the belly. I didn't know you were pregnant. You are pregnant right? People ask me if I am all the time, but I'm not.

And I did look at the National Health Service Corps loan repayment site for openings in American Samoa, but none were listed.:) So I guess we'll head for an Arctic "paradise" rather than a tropical one!

I am from Nuuuli and was so happy to see the waterfall .... I have not been there since I was a kid. I am LDS, Tala & Tracy are my cousins and I enjoy reading your blog - it's another way that helps me keep up with the happenings on island !

Hey, Melinda! Congrats on the upcoming Temple #4! How do you manage to look to cute pregnant, even in a swimsuit?! :-) I just finished my spring break, but it was nothing like yours, it looks like. I'll have to save my money to come see you guys for a REAL spring break. Love reading about your lives!
