Melinda, I love your caveat about not praising your good attitude--so funny! We don't even live in American Samoa, just eastern Montana, and we had one of those April Fools Days where we were reminded that things break. Ya know, sometimes, tires just pop on the way to work. And the stores in the small towns round about don't have a new one. And sometimes, snow actually does melt around here, and then it somehow finds its way into your basement and you find yourself sucking 50+ gallons of water out of your basement, almost keeping up until you decide you really oughtta feed your poor screaming baby real quick. Yep, this is mortality all right. All this stuff around us? It's pretty much corruptible. Glad you have internet again so you can post your adventures! I'm so glad I get to be related to you, you're just pretty much awesome.
So, I have a friend in my wonderful Toledo 2nd ward named Wendy (Dahle) Carey from Montana, and I serve in the primary presidency with her. I noticed that Monette has the same last name, so I asked Wendy at church today, and it happens that Aaron is her cousin. So if I am related to Melinda through marriage, and she is related to Melinda and then is related to Wendy through marriage, then I'm PRACTICALLY related to Wendy, whom I totally LOVE, so that's pretty cool!! just kidding :P
