This is the fabric that my friend Ali brought back from the states for me. I'm SO excited. It's going in the kids room for curtains. You can't tell from the picture (I sure couldn't) that the patterns are really, really big. Those lollipop trees are really a foot and a half tall. And the stripe fabric is as big as a bedspread. It looks like a national banner.I hear a Pago Pago Ikea is opening in Spring 2060... ha ha.
In the meantime I'm enjoying these simple pleasures.

I have to say that even though I will be giving up some things I will not be giving up much here in Geneva. There is an Ikea not too far away and that is where we will buy all our furnishings for our tiny appartment when we get one. Right now I am missing my car though.
i trying to think what you could possibly be giving up in geneva, besides american tv. switzerland just seems to have it all. include fabulous chocolate so please blog on that when you can.
